Our research reveals how government budgets since 2010 have impacted Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women. In partnership with Coventry Women’s Voices and RECLAIM in Manchester, we’ve carried out research that brings BME women’s lived experiences to the forefront.

Speakers will include:

  • Dawn Butler MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities
  • Helen Grant MP, Maidstone and The Weald
  • Rt. Hon. David Lammy MP, Tottenham
  • Kacea Omeje, peer researcher, RECLAIM

The launch will give us new insight into the ways BME women have been hit hardest by successive budgets, and follow with a discussion on what must be done to reverse the trend.

Runnymede and the Women’s Budget Group would like to thank the Barrow Cadbury Trust for their support with this project.
